The 2003 Academy Leadership Summit will be held Wednesday, November 5th through Satruday, November 8th at the Biscayne Bay Marriott Hotel & Marina in Miami, Florida. Academy directors, site coordinators, administrators, and advisory board members are encouraged to attend this event.

General Information [top]
	The Academy Leadership Summit is designed for NAF Academy leaders, including directors, on-site coordiantors, building principals, and district level administrators. The conference will begin on Wednesday evening, November 5th with a welcome reception. The conference program will begin Thursday morning, November 6th, and will continue all day Thursday, all day Friday and will end at approximately 1:00pm on Saturday, November 8th. The registration fee for each participant is $325. Registration [top]
	On-line registration for the 2003 Academy Leadership Summit will begin in early September. The per person registration fee is $325, and can be paid by purchase order, check or credit card.

Attendance Costs [top]
	All costs related to attending the 2003 Academy Leadership Summit are the responsibility of the attendee. Please keep the following costs in mind when creating your budget: $325 registration fee per person a hotel rate of $139/night, plus 12.5% sales tax Meal costs; NAF provides a light welcome reception on Wednesday evening and breakfast and breaks Thursday, Friday and Saturday If you plan to fly, air transportation costs from your city or origin to Miami International Airport Ground Transportation costs: SuperShuttle -- $11.50 on-way or Taxi Service -- approximately $20 (can be shared by up to 4 people) If you plan to drive, a per day parking rate of $18 for self parking or $21 for valet parking

	Early Septemeber, 2003 -- Registration Site Opens Monday, October 13, 2003 -- Deadline for Registration, Cancellation with Refund, and Hotel Reservations at guaranteed rate of $139/night **anyone wishing to register after this date, must do so on-site and pay a higher registration fee of $400 Wednesday, November 5, 2003 -- Academy Leadership Summit begins Saturday, November 8, 2003 -- Academy Leadership Summit ends
